Okay, right click on the panel, and select Panel->Add to Panel->Launcher. Then, fill in the fields the way you want, and click Close. Then you can move the icon into place in your panel. The fields by default are: Name: Web Browser Comment: GNOME Web Browser Command: gnome-moz-remote --newwin "" Type: Application Icon: /usr/X11R6/share/gnome/pixmaps/gnome-html.png (But you could probably get that from the .desktop file) Joe > > Other apps do show up, and the panels->edit_menus screen does show > this desktop, but it's grayed out (like all of the other defaults). > > I miss being able to one-click launch the browser!!! > > - Mike H. > > From: Joe Marcus Clarke <marcus@marcuscom.com> > Cc: FreeBSD GNOME Users <gnome@freebsd.org> > Date: 18 Sep 2002 01:35:43 -0400 > X-Virus-Scanned: by AMaViS snapshot-20020531 > X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-9.3 required=5.0 > tests=AWL,IN_REP_TO,PGP_SIGNATURE_2,REFERENCES,SPAM_PHRASE_00_01, > TO_BE_REMOVED_REPLY > version=2.41 > X-Spam-Level: > > > --=-0qhZQnWwjOA2zVEwmAL+ > Content-Type: text/plain > Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable > > On Tue, 2002-09-17 at 21:06, Mike Harding wrote: > >=20 > > How to recover? > > What icon is this?
