This is on a ASRock K7VT2 board. If there is anything else I could do (testing patches, providing further info), please let me know. 4.8-STABLE from 04.08.2003: - MBO USB-MultiCardReader 6-in-1 mount_msdos => Input/output error - Epson Perfection 1260 Scanner scanimage --test => Error during device I/O 4.8-STABLE from 09.08.2003 (at about now): - MBO USB-MultiCardReader 6-in-1 mount_msdos etc. => OK => SD/MMS-Cards are located at 0:0:2 camcontrol rescan 0:0:2 mounting and reading works, but I assume one shouldn't mount devices RW if they are read-only... Do we have the same problem here as with floppy disks? - Epson Perfection 1260 Scanner scanimage --test => Error during device I/O (this is plustek 0x04b8 0x011d) => scanimage --test scanimage: scanning image of size 248x150 pixels at 24 bits/pixel scanimage: acquiring RGB frame, 8 bits/sample scanimage: reading one scanline, 744 bytes... FAIL Error: Error during device I/O I have reports that this scanner is working correctly with FreeBSD (but presumably with a different board). Could whoever solved the usb da-thing have a look at uscanner? Regards, Holger dmesg: Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
