help pleeeezzzz!!!! i have a problem routing on a dual homed system. it has two either net cards. ed0 and ed1. ed0 is connected to a cable modem to the internet, and ed1 is conected into my local network. from the bsd box i can ping anything on the internet and the local net. from another computer i can ping both nics in the bsd box both nothing on the internet. i really have no idea how to configure the rc.conf file to do the routing. heres the info for the nics ed0 (isp, static) ip 24.1.88.xx gateway 24.1.88.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 edi (local) ip 208.202.105.xx gateway 208.202.105.1 subnet 255.255.255.255 i tried the handbook and the man pages, but i most admit i'm new to bsd and didn't really get it. i'm using bsd 2.2.5 thanxs in advance ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
