That's what I was thinking.  I suppose that the final target files
could be compared against the source files, and then a rebuild done if
necessary.  Sounds like a neat hack.  I have no desire to do so now,
of course, but I'll push it on my list.

That was my idea.  Problem is, I'm one of the few SCSI users in San
Angelo, so secondhand drives are hard to come by.  I inadvertantly
fried my last one, when I was mounting it to keep it from getting
fried.  :-(
