You probably have QMAKESPEC set in your environment (to /usr/X11R6/mkspecs/default), which doesn't exist on disk anymore. It's been moved to /usr/X11R6/share/qt/mkspecs/default It would probably make sense for the qt31 port to unset QMAKESPEC before configuring/building. -- Bradley T.
