If you don't want to do that - just set JAVA_HOME and PATH to point to the install dir and the /bin dir respectively. If you've installed it through ports (gone to /usr/ports/= java/..., then run "make", then "make install"), all yo= u should have to do, is re-login.

If you don't want to do that - just set JAVA_HOME and PAT= H to point to the install dir and the /bin dir respectively.
