The user icons are correctly displayed but kdm just restarts each time I tiried to log in through a user or root. Yes the passwords are correct. I have tried setting up kdm in the kcontrol panel but kdm only managed to display my selected background wallpaper. The kdm was installed thru the FreeBSD 4.5 CD. If the default kdm requires further configuration, please advise me on how to go about it thnks.
