Ah, yes. This is 6.1-PRE on a Dell Laptop, which also explains the
attachment via ACPI. The speaker is no ISA device, but handled by the
soundcard it self.

If I get to it, I will try this on my desktop tomorrow, it has an ISA
speaker (I guess ...)
