The IPv6 INRIA code includes ALTQ as an option. Since I've ported this code to -current, most of the porting work for ALTQ to -current is done except for one or two small compile nits (a problem with a change in queuing macros). I haven't had time to test ALTQ yet, and it's not the latest version. If anyone using -current is interested in having a look at it, my patches are available here, but keep in mind that they include IPv6 patches too : ftp://frmug.org/ipv6/ > 2. IPv6 support > Make use of IPv6 features (e.g, flowlabel) > Also, I feel that when we incorporate IPv6 is a good opportunity > to incorporate various other networking research outputs (e.g., > RED, ECN, diff-serv) into the existing platforms. Some of this (at least RED and ECN) is in the INRIA IPv6 too. About the same status as ALTQ regarding my port to -current (barely compile, untested). If there are any testers out there, they're more than welcome ! -- Pierre Beyssac pb@fasterix.frmug.org pb@fasterix.freenix.org {Free,Net,Open}BSD, Linux : il y a moins bien, mais c'est plus cher Free domains: http://www.eu.org/ or mail dns-manager@EU.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
