Hi folks, Is there some ifconfig(8) trick I'm missing that will allow me to assign an address and some aliases to an interface without bringing the interface up? I'm working on a redundant firewall system for a customer and if I can't get this right with ifconfig(8), I'm in for a bit of messy scripting. Ciao, Sheldon.
