Steve Madsen:
 |Hi, Randall. I've been playing with fxtv and a Hauppauge WinTV card and
 |seeing some really odd behavior. fxtv is drawing the video picture about
 |255 pixels to the left outside the X window. I'm using version fxtv 0.48.
 |
 |The X session is running at 1280x1024, 32bpp on a Matrox G200 8MB, XFree86
 |3.3.3.1. This is FreeBSD 3.1-RELEASE, although I have upgraded the bt848
 |driver to the snapshot on telepresence.
 |
 |Any idea why I might be seeing this behavior?

Yes, this seems to be a common problem on Matrox 8MB cards in certain
configurations. I've attached a past multimedia post on this for details.

Anyone with a Matrox know if XFree86 has fixed this in a recent version?

Randall
