Hello, Are you using the default sendmail included with your copy of FreeBSD or have you installed a http://www.sendmail.org/ source/binary? If so (sendmail.org) you may want to return to the installation directory/cf/cf and attend your changes to the file sendmail.mc there and rerun the make install-cf command.
