Subject:   Moving the boot device.

I currently have a system that looks as follows:

wd0 Windows 95
wd1  FreeBSD.

I would like to remove the wd0 device.  I know that there is issues with
booting.  The system
will still look for wd1 as the boot device and have trouble mounting it.  I
am aware of the /etc/fstab table.  
Changing the values there does not fix the problem.  This looks like
something that is stored on the 
disk.  Any help would be appreciated.
