Hi, after upgrading to xorg-7.3 some drivers don't seem to work anymore. A simple # startx will result in ------------------------------ [...] (EE) module ABI major version (1) doesn't match the server's version (2) (EE) Failed to load module "s3virge" (module requirement mismatch, 0) (EE) No drivers available. [...] ------------------------------ On some gentoo mailing list I found I can start X by # startx -- -ignoreABI which of course only starts xorgs twm window manager. How can I pass this to gdm? I tried to play around with /usr/local/etc/gdm/custom.conf but all I get are segmentation faults. Greetings, Uli. Peter Ulrich Kruppa Wuppertal Germany
