Neither "ls " nor "cd " succeed. In our case the NIS server is a "Solaris 2.6" machine. Sometimes it helps, when you submit a "kill -HUP" to the AMD process. Killing and restarting AMD seems to help always. >How-To-Repeat: Share or export the directory "/test" on a nfs server machine. Make a new entry in amd. on the NIS server, for example test rhost:=;rfs:=/test and rebuild the NIS maps. >Fix: These are only workarounds, not fixes: Wait approx. one hour and then try again. Or supply a "kill -HUP" to the AMD process. Or kill AMD and restart it. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
