In any case, the advisories only refer to www.freebsd.org, not to any of the mirrors, so it shouldn't matter that the mirrors don't perform the same redirection. (hmm, I wonder if it would be possible to put appropriate mod_rewrite lines in /handbook/.htaccess...)
