On a note back on track with the subject, I was looking for information on another topic when I ran accross this URL, http://www.news.com/News/Item/0,4,29416,00.html The title of the story is, "Unix trounces Windows NT in testing." Admittedly, the version of UNIX they are comparing to (AIX, Digital UNIX, Solaris, IRIX, and HP-UX) are not FreeBSD or even PC based systems, but it still could give you an idea of the advantages of UNIX-based OSes over NT. And those OSes don't even have the power of open source. -- Crist J.
