But dmesg output cannot be called back, can it? Hmm? Do you mean the kernel printfs during probe/boot? It can, but you have to wait for the boot to finish before you can use the scroll lock key. And all syscons vty's can be scrolled AFAIK, so you should definately be able to scroll the debug screen on ALT-F2. Gary
