Update: -CURRENT now boots just fine, no problems, except the minor detail that it fails utterly to detect my PCI bus. Which, needless to say, is a bit of an inconvenience, since my ethernet card is on PCI. This is a Compaq Presario 575, Pentium 120 processor with 80 megs of RAM. Ethernet card is a 3c905. Everything else seems to work just fine (w/ and w/o PnP included in kernel config, tho I don't think it affects any hardware I have). Verbose boot messages available if someone has time to take a look. -- Matthew Fuller (MF4839) | fullermd@over-yonder.net Unix Systems Administrator | fullermd@futuresouth.com Specializing in FreeBSD | http://www.over-yonder.net/ FutureSouth Communications | ISPHelp ISP Consulting "The only reason I'm burning my candle at both ends, is because I haven't figured out how to light the middle yet" To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
