ACADEMIC PROJECTS
* Installed the Apache Web Server on a HP-UX machine. It was configured such
that users could set up their own web pages and also included support for
CGI
scripting.

* Installed version 8.2.2 of BIND on HP-UX system and configured it to be
the
primary DNS Server for my own custom domain. The system was also set up to
be
a secondary server for the domains ee.siue.edu and exp.ee.siue.edu.

* Added hard drives to systems and used the HP-UX Logical Volume
Manager to create logical volumes. This project involved configuring the
system
to be a NIS Server that served a standard set of administration files.

* The system was configured to support Automounter which automatically maps
user home directories to /home "auto_home" (NFS).

* This project involved dumping the whole file system onto a 8mm Tape Backup
unit and then restoring individual files from it.

Additional Projects:
* Design and Cost Analysis of a network using Gigabit Ethernet and Optical
Fibers.
