I'm trying to build gphoto 2.0 beta 2 on a free bsd box. (I want to try to get an agfa cl20 usb camera to talk to the computer.) I downloaded the tarball from gphoto.org, ran configure and then make install. Make complained about not being able to find libdl. A quick search with google found an answer to a related question about that library suggesting that the contents of libdl are now in libc so, I made a link from libdl to libc and tried again. This time, I received an error from make complaining of three unresolved symbols: bindtextdomain, textdomain and dgettext As the link command that failed included a reference to libdl, I guess that the solution is not as simple as linking libdl to libc. Any suggestions? -- John O'Connor jpoc@jpoc.org http://www.jpoc.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
