Excerpt from Slashdot interview: David Greenman and Mike Karels will be working together as co-architects for the new system. As features are merged in, they will be available for download at www.freebsd.org, and on "snapshot" CDROMs. The completely merged system will be released as FreeBSD 5.0. What kind of features and additions can we expect from the merged systems in 5.0? It looks as though this has been in the works for sometime. I think I read somewhere that SMP support would be much improved?
