I've still not found the problem and I'm still working on it. Today is make world and I'll test again. Already tried the new kernel and that failed to help. With the camcontrol debug with all flags on, this is what I got. (xpt0:ncr0:0:4:-1): debugging flags now f (xpt0:ncr0:0:4:-1): xpt_free_path (xpt0:ncr0:0:4:-1): xpt_release_path cam_debug: queuing for immediate ccb .... cam_debug: queuing for immediate ccb After which I have the same error again. After this world is installed, I'll test again, then build and test with a UP kernel. Chris PS Thanks for all the help I've been getting from people willing to try and replicate the problem.
