I release the new version of L10N (Japanese) boot.flp for 2.1.5-RELEASE. I removed some dirty hacks from Makefiles of src/release (you can make original English version if you don't define any L10N options in src/release/Makafile), and our L10N team finished the extraction of "hardcoded" message of sysinstall into external text file. So, this version can be easily extended to support other languages. Based on this work, sysinstall of this boot.flp now came to be "bilingual" (English / Japanese). You can choose your favorite language from dialog menu. I and FreeBSD users in Taiwan are working on Chinese version of boot.flp based on this work, and I think that Traditional Chinese (Big-5) version of boot.flp is soon available. I'm also working on the incorporation of PAO PC-card package into this boot.flp. The new version of Japanese L10N boot.flp is available at: ftp://ryukyu.mt.cs.keio.ac.jp/pub/FreeBSD/boot-jp/boot.flp Sources (patches to src/release) are found at ftp://ryukyu.mt.cs.keio.ac.jp/pub/FreeBSD/boot-jp/L10Nboot-960808.tar.gz -- HOSOKAWA, Tatsumi E-mail: hosokawa@mt.cs.keio.ac.jp WWW homepage: http://www.mt.cs.keio.ac.jp/person/hosokawa.html Department of Computer Science, Keio University, Yokohama, Japan
