 Does anybody know how to force 2.1.7.1 to work on newer machines (Celeron
 with BX chipset or P5 with TX and SDRAM/PC100 memory)?
 I get kernel panics (the same kernel works ok on similar HX machine with
 EDO RAM)
 
 Motherboard is Asus TXP4, T2P4X works OK.
 
 What did Intel change inside?
 
 P.S. Upgrade is NOT acceptable, no flames please.
