Ed(4) doesn't do DMA and is quite limited in terms of what it can do. But even so, we'd set the threshold at 5 or 10 installed machines running 11 or newer. If Julian legit has that many machines, then we can remove it from the list. In the initial period of this process, all the folks that were concerned turned put to not have machines. The nycbug dmesg stats also showed no use after 8 or so.
