The problem I have is not new, seen since the upgrade to 2.12. Tested on Freebsd 5.4 and 6.0, same result. The problem is when I start gnome-system-log, nothing happens: #gnome-system-log (stall) Nothing on sylog. TOP shows 814 root 1 5 0 17556K 11484K ttyin 0:00 3.76% gnome-system-log the process stays like that indefinitely: root 814 0,0 4,5 17556 11468 p0 I+ 15:43 0:00,31 gnome-system-log How can I solve or debug this? Any idea? Thank you Best regards Laurent Bouvet
