Everything is fine, 'cept for switching from X (Accelerated X 4.1; or XFree86 3.3.1) to text mode (vtyX). It appears as though the refresh rate is not set correctly. The video card is a FireGL 1000 Pro with the 3D-Labs Permedia 2 chipset. On startup, during the probe, sc0 is found, but has an extra line similar to: sc0: (mode switching not fully supported) Anyone have any ideas? Or is there (possibly) a fix? With the exact same setup an S3 ViRGE works fine. TIA, Brad -- Brad Hendrickse UUNET Internet Africa Network Operations
