A good starting point IMO is a Linux distro called "Ubuntu Studio". https://ubuntustudio.org/about-ubuntustudio/ You can download it and test the applications by booting from the DVD. IOW you don't need to install it. Several things are only provided by proprietary software. Printing companies might want your work in a required format. You perhaps need comfortable lips sync or screen tones? You need to test it on your own. Hth, Ralf
