>Yep, assuming you start X using startx.  Make sure ~/.xinitrc is
executable.

~/.xinitrc is executable with 744. I can start gnome2 as root (yes I have
wrapper installed)... but if I start try and start gnome2 as a regular user
(either startx or xinit), I get the error:

**ERROR**: I Can't write to /tmp/orbit-kwythers, ORB failed aborting...
