In order to set up a mirror in China we would need some company or possibly university to donate hosting and bandwidth and quite likely have local staff available for occasional troubleshooting. Due to the security-sensitive nature of package mirroring, the FreeBSD project will need full administrative control of the package server and the content carried by it. The server itself would probably be supplied through the FreeBSD Foundation. We rely entirely on donations to support these services. As far as I know, the FreeBSD project only has a small presence in China but that region of the world is an area where we are actively looking to recruit new developers and other contributors. If you are interested in having a bigger FreeBSD presence in China or you are in a position to provide resources, I'd encourage you to contact the FreeBSD Foundation, either through their web site or by e-mail at info@freebsdfoundation.org Cheers, Matthew --WTINd1cAFQXGMwrUQ75hTVplwwGRSpws8-- --CCf7LJjs6nGsttkgaqvdBlJjDMxECf0oO Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJX5St1XxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXQ2NTNBNjhCOTEzQTRFNkNGM0UxRTEzMjZC QjIzQUY1MThFMUE0MDEzAAoJELsjr1GOGkAThqsP/3lIVUNyFCTSbOVjQ7xkkSax d3MnSo+iP5ghXmzIvQGbtxuvzkO3Bp8KgAMYwz6FENHqZ/JvreL8i4pl85q9R/f4 5vIMT7T26kC89plwhO4EgKuolUi9UIMklnX4tcgJZIqHsGif6IrXUtIwxCt/KnN/ pE/I5EyN5J6xcgVU511esV46y/NaBMg03KI3AW58JXk41hq6OhLLQpcV6+74ILtY wGrDm2woyqzf818ZX9cD2oyBwbh5cHWtRpiqZhTMfmWEH7Q6ZEiizau1V2thuGFJ MO8Vjc7zcSIoj8bJJ6k2fz7SKgRxQoPsfOo3z4WY3q6rFvL6pqv8s0KGZ/4CasYl s3qFqLbEFeb+Z0PJ3tigdm8Ph9suyW3LZk+GQCG6jO/S6lBQu0tx53NupAdubboO SPVfMqQj4NsleDj0MkbgMni5LF/FNzS6a9tkZyfo58I2UrEEnIgPVUzkEasDcr8l o22Db29gih0nFgcuzkSIlr3IeMUhaklhp2oFahH44t08miRptefdZjsY2UsThq1L roOd87CI4uTk48VjMBPwn2yVfWJNfGjhYFHz+QEqYZ6unHMA6kYEfmFkGmn02jVg QASi0FApP0ImP9kULGhg4krKxQV9AByZh3a/yxOLVGCJapUEPpTGFxvuY54Rr0gv mQnqm8t8leQNj+1ERL8q =719o -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --CCf7LJjs6nGsttkgaqvdBlJjDMxECf0oO--
