[resending since my filter was misconfigured] When updating bind 9.16 I get: pkg-static: file '/usr/local/etc/namedb/master/empty.db' is missing pkg-static: package creation failed =3D=3D=3D>>> Ignore this error [i] =3D=3D=3D>>> Abort update [a] =3D=3D=3D>>> Retry [r] =3D=3D=3D>>> How would you like to proceed? [I] Ignoring the error caused bind to install but why the error? I have no = reference to /usr/local/etc/namedb/master/ anywhere in my config. # grep -ir master /usr/local/etc/namedb | grep -v sample # Ignoring the error caused a master/empty.db to be created, along with a = couple of other files. # tree master master =E2=94=9C=E2=94=80=E2=94=80 empty.db =E2=94=9C=E2=94=80=E2=94=80 localhost-forward.db =E2=94=94=E2=94=80=E2=94=80 localhost-reverse.db The files are each about 250-300 bytes. --=20 'But look,' said Ponder, 'the graveyards are full of people who rushed in bravely but unwisely.' 'Ook.' 'What did he say?' said the Bursar. 'I think he said, "Sooner or later the graveyards = are full of everybody".'
