System: FreeBSD gruft.de 4.7-STABLE FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE #23: Fri Nov 8 12:22:46 CET 2002 root@gruft.de:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/EXPRESS i386
Port: irc/ircII - irc-20021103

>Description:

ircII from the ports fails when trying to set the interface to bind by
using the "-h hostname" commandline parameter. tcpdump shows no packages
on the outgoing network interface, ircII times out on connecting to the
server. When the -h option is not used ircII binds to the default
interface with no problems.

>How-To-Repeat:

install ircII on a machine with more than one official IP and try to
bind on an interface specified.
