I am having difficulties changing passwords while logged in as a normal
user.  Any similar experiences?

stab@absolute ~>uname -a

2002     root@absolute.best.ca:/usr/src/sys/compile/oblivion  i386

stab@absolute ~>passwd

passwd: /etc/master.passwd: unchanged

stab@absolute ~>smbpasswd
Old SMB password:
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
machine 127.0.0.1 rejected the password change: Error was : RAP86: The
specified password is invalid.
Failed to change password for stab
