Looks like, something wrong with patch in comment #3 (and comment #4, which
includes it).
The mpv (multimedia/mpv) crashes with segmentation fault (core dumped), in =
my
case.

Thanks for testing. Yes, the x11/mate-terminal worked with it, as well as
editors/scite, x11-fm/caja, www/firefox, etc. But not multimedia/mpv someho=
w.
So, probably I need to obsolete patch in comment #4.
