I don't have publicly-available Cricket graphs, but I noted a similar increase almost as soon as my rsync copied the bits over. ftp5 was running at about 25 Mbit/s (which is pretty good for that machine!) so I cranked down on the limits a bit. I noticed several users with large numbers of simultaneous connections; they have been kicked off, and will be banned if I see similar behavior again.
