Hi, I get the following errors when issuing a $ dd if=/dev/rcd0c of=cd2 bs=64k dd: /dev/rcd0c: Input/output error 2081+0 records in 2081+0 records out 136380416 bytes transferred in 68.991715 secs (1976765 bytes/sec) And in the logs I find: (cd0:sym0:0:0:0): READ(10). CDB: 28 0 0 4 c0 20 0 0 6 0 (cd0:sym0:0:0:0): MEDIUM ERROR info:4c024 asc:6,0 (cd0:sym0:0:0:0): No reference position found (cd0:sym0:0:0:0): cddone: got error 0x5 back The disk is a data disk. On a cursory inspection the image produced with dd seems ok, despite the errors. I get the error on a couple of disks I've burnt on some HP burner and my own Plextor. One commercial (data) CD doesn't give any errors. Should I be concerned? I'm running on 4.3-stable, the CD-writer is a Plextor hanging off of a Tekram 390u2w controller. Further details upon request.
