Well, I doubt if this is going to help, but I did the: gdb /usr/X11R6/bin/nautilus typed run and got: (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... a bunch of times and then when I did a "bt" I got no stack.
