I have just completed installation of freeBSD 3.1 from cdrom, but i =
cannot seem to convince my computer that freeBSD exists on the =
harddrive. Please help.

I have one Seagate 34520A on controller zero which has a FAT, EXTENDED, =
and FREEBSD partition. I believe that the freeBSD partition is named =
wd0s3, because I can actually MOUNT that partition when using cdrom2 as =
a 'live file system'. =20

Anyway ....

When the system first starts up, I get the "boot:" prompt. I type in =
"0:wd(x,a)? [where x is any number from 0 to 9]" and I get the error =
"not ufs." I have also replaced the 'a" with values up to and =
including "f"

lane
