I have carefully followed the user ppp configuration in the FAQ but can not get it to work. When at the "ppp ON hostname>" prompt, and type "dial provider" I get "dial failed". I tried testing my modem connection using tip but did not get much further. When I type tip cuaa1, I get the response "connected" but at this point I don't know what to type? Do I need any special drivers for my PC Card? Do I have to do something special in my /etc/modems file? Do I need to change my dial script from the one given in the FAQ i.e. special script for the US Robotics PC Card? My /etc/ppp/ppp.conf has the following login script "TIMEOUT 10 gin: username word: password ENTER: 3" for the following login sequence Login--Login: username Password: password ENTER: 3 (for ppp) when i do dmesg, I finds sio0 and sio1 properly configured on start up i.e., irq 4 & irq 3 tun0: flags=8051 mtu 1500 inet 10.0.0.1 ---> 199.60.101.254 netmask 0xffffff00 Please assist or refer to any additional documentation. Thanks in advance. Yogen
