For those testing the new GNOME 2.1 desktop, you're in for a treat. I enabled VTE support in the new gnometerminal-2.1.1, and now the main terminal window is anti-aliased. It looks quite nice, and, since it's rendered with Xft, the performance is pretty good, too.
