Ah, not such a big deal either way... gdb has been messed up on Alpha for a while, and the new one does work well for userland. We may not be progressing as fast as we'd like. But still doing pretty good or a volenteer effort. It is good to be upgrading, and even if there is some pain, 5.0-RELEAES will be nice.
