https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D263694 Bug ID: 263694 Summary: prune erlang & elixir ports (approx 80 ports) Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: dch@freebsd.org Created attachment 233618 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D233618&action= =3Dedit v1 of purge patch per https://www.freebsd.org/status/report-2021-07-2021-09/#_freebsd_erlang_ecos= ystem_ports_update the vast majority of users install libraries in the erlang ecosystem via custom mix & rebar3 build tools, which we have in ports. There is no point in carrying large numbers of trophy ports which are unmaintained, and un-used by the wider community. a git branch is maintained https://git.sr.ht/~dch/ports/log/purge-stale-erlang-ports for easy fetching= and reviewing. Ports for purging, and a diff, as attachments. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
