I am sorry, but I have a small bug to report. I am sending a Cc: to Gary Clark, as he is the pal that installed FreeBSD on my machine, and is helping me get it going. I ran into this installing cnews-cr.e on FreeBSD 2.05 release. I was getting cron mail that sendbatches: spacefor: dospacefor no such file or directory. Here is what caused it: In /usr/local/libexec/news/spacefor there is a case statement, and one of the lines has outbound) on it. This line has: . . . arg="/usr/spool/uucp"; . . . and it should be: . . . arg="/var/spool/uucp"; . . . This is the only line in the file that does not use a variable from /usr/local/lib/news/bin/config to handle the pathing.
