I still have the same error. building standard md library building profiled md library building shared library libmd.so.2 ranlib libmd.a ranlib libmd_p.a /usr/obj/src/RELENG_4/src/i386/usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot open crtbeginS.o: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 ld is expecting crtbeginS.o which is not installed in /usr/obj/src/RELENG_4/src/i386/usr/lib.
