Ok. I didn't make a value judgement but was interested in hearing them from others. I guess it worked :-) Still, I'm happy to see the availability of code from major vendors, no matter how half-hearted the attempt. It's got more people thinking about the source code and I believe that this is good for our profession. What I found sort of interesting about the website was Eric Raymond's presence proclaiming Apple's "innovativeness". I wish they had aligned themselves better with the BSD community. Perhaps this can still happen?
