I have a DWL-520, in hostap mode, with WEP.  I've not seen this problem ever,
but I've not put more than a few 10s of Mb through it at a time.  How big is
"large" in your case?  Sending or receiving?  I'll give it a bit more of a
beating tonight and see if I get the same problem.
