The last Ruby 1.8 version available in ports is 1.8.7 p248. According to http://edgeguides.rubyonrails.org/3_0_release_notes.html : "Note that Ruby 1.8.7 p248 and p249 have marshaling bugs that crash Rails 3.0."

Can we update the patchlevel to latest (p302?) to fix this issue?
