Hoping that any of you can help me out. What happens is that i get the famous wi0: watchdog timeout. I can set the card settings with wicontrol and even the other card in the network can see those'e settings, but as soon as it comes to ip traffice the famous watchdog starts barking... The machine has 4 PCI cards (2 network, 1 video and the bridge for the pcmcia), no isa cards. I figured out that i needed the hw.pcic.intr_path="1" in my /boot/loader.conf to make sure that wi0 did follow the same irq as the pci>pcmcia card. After that i disabled both serial ports and the parallel port on the machine in the bios to make sure these irq's were available too. I even compiled a new kernel to make sure that the serial ports were not even in there... I have edit that /etc/default/pccard.conf Dell section to force the card to use an irq (i tried all) but all with no luck :( Any help would REALLY be appreciated. The dmesg etc. are included below my signature. Thanks in advance for you time and effort.
