You might have better luck setting the MAC on your wired interface instead =
of
the WiFi.

The FreeBSD Handbook has been updated to recommend this strategy since many
WiFi chipsets won't accept a new MAC.  I don't think iwn is in that categor=
y,
but it would generate another data point in any case, assuming you're still
having this issue on newer FreeBSD versions.
